Unable to ping gateway after fresh install

Hello, I recently did a fresh install of 7.3 and after running through the install steps I rebooted to the usual welcome screen but I am unable to reach the web UI from the ip listed in the UI and after logging in on the node find that I can not ping my gateway at the usual 192.168.1.1 ip. My router UI also shows no client connected which would match the proxmox configured ip.

Some networking info:

The default setup is essentially the same as a previous install I performed which worked so I'm unclear what I may have configured incorrectly.
Could anyone help me understand what I've done wrong?

Thanks in advance!

What is output of "arp -a" on windows? Have you tried to move the cable on the switch? Replace the cable? If, as you say, the router shows no presence of the client with the IP/MAC of the PVE - are you certain its plugged in to what you think it is?
Can you obtain arp list from the router?

Thanks for the help on this. I have tried an alternate cable and the proxmox server is plugged directly into the router with no switch in between. My understanding from the original screenshot is that the pve host believes the eth port is working. Perhaps this is an issue on the router side and I've unintentionally blocked it...
