I have a fresh install of PVE (8.2.7). I have updated it and installed all the packages.

It has been successfully connected to a VMWare Vcenter (with hosts running ESXi 8). When I try to import a VM I get an error with the endpoint.

If I log onto the PVE instance and try and lookinside teh endpoint it appears unconnected!

What is wrong?

Code:
root@pve025:/run/pve/import/esxi/vcenter# ls mnt
ls: cannot access 'mnt': Transport endpoint is not connected

Thank you. This is very helpful.

I have managed to get one migrated with Veeam by restoring a backup into proxmox.

Like all things... when you know what to do and you have it working, then it is easy.

What we did was exporting all VM disks by hand while recording their cpu/memory/passthrough config on a piece of paper, then reconfigure all of them on the PVE side.
Worked like a charm.
