[SOLVED] Unable to download templates

Hi Guys, I am trying to download the Ubuntu 22.04 template, but I am getting the following error message:

downloading http://download.proxmox.com/images/system/ubuntu-22.04-standard_22.04-1_amd64.tar.zst to /mnt/pve/DIR01/template/cache/ubuntu-22.04-standard_22.04-1_amd64.tar.zst

Resolving download.proxmox.com (download.proxmox.com)... failed: Temporary failure in name resolution.
TASK ERROR: download failed: wget: unable to resolve host address 'download.proxmox.com'

I am new to proxmox and still learning my ways around, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Just to add, I am also unable to download ISOs from URL. That returns the following error message:


invalid server response: '500 Can't connect to releases.ubuntu.com:443 (Temporary failure in name resolution)' (500)
 
I also had a similar issue. I would get the same error when trying to download templates. I was able to ping IPs but not websites from the shell. DNS was not set up yet. Hopefully this helps someone else who is still learning all this like me.
