I have a disk with no containers and no VM's at all, yet, when I try to destroy it, I get this error.

Task viewer: Volume Group pve - Remove

OutputStatus

Stop

Download
TASK ERROR: unable to remove volume group pve: Logical volume pve/root contains a filesystem in use.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
this sounds like your root filesystem is on that disk!? Are you sure you don't just want to remove the pve/data thin pool? That could be done in [NODE] > Disks > LVM-Thin > More > Destroy.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that, you are correct, it's the Drive proxmox is installed on. I honestly thought I had it installed elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
