Unable to destroy disk directory from GUI

I was asked to confirm by entering an ID, but I have no idea which ID to use.
Look at the table of "Storage". The leftmost column which contains the name of the Storage is labeled... "ID" ;-)

You need to enter the name of the storage to confirm you clicked the right one - a wrong deletion could be fatal...

Duh, sometimes one cannot see the forest because all the trees are blocking it.o_O

Thanks, but I had started manually removing storage files and messed things up. The directory is still listed, but the REMOVE button is inactive after entering the ID.

Is there any way to remove this directory via the CL? When I attempt, I get the message "device or resource busy."

Thank you so much for your attention and participation.

Probably edit the /etc/pve/storage.cfg file, removing (completely) the relevant storage entry. Reboot the node & you are probably good. After that you probably will be able to delete those no-longer needed directories. (Be careful what you delete!).

If the relevant storage you wish to delete is mounted storage you may have to edit the /etc/fstab removing that entry to stop it remounting on reboot.

NOTE: HAVE NEVER TESTED THIS.
