I have a PowerEdge M640 (VRTX) that I am attempting to install ProxMox VE 8.3 on, but I am unable to get past the "Creating LVM" step. I see an error that says "Failure: Unable to create swap volume". I am using a SanDisk 16GB flash drive to run the installer. I have tried using all install options available: GUI, Terminal, and Terminal Serial, as well as the debug version of these but I always see the same error.

These are some of the specs of my M640:
Storage: 13.09TiB
Memory: 192 GB
Processor: Intel Xeon(R) Silver 4110 CPU @ 2.10GHz

See attached files for images of the install process using the terminal UI.

That's weird. Are you using hardware RAID on the PERC card?

Try setting swap size to 0, you can create a swapfile after install on rootfs or another drive/partition

Thanks for the quick reply!
I tried setting the swap size to 0 but it doesn't seem to work. It just gives me a slightly different error that says "Unable to create root volume"
I have my drives set up as RAID 6 (I have 10 drives setup in RAID and 1 hotswappable drive).

When I was attempting to install it to my RAID setup the first time I accidentally installed it to an SD card on the system. So the installer should work, but after that I have been unable to reinstall it on the main storage.
I can try to install it on a different standalone if you think that would help, but I'd need to go get one.
