Hello all, i hope someone can guide me in the right direction

I have proxmox running on a W10 machine on my home network, a ddns (NO-IP) set up with automatic updates configured on my router

I can access my proxmox server when I use an android mobile phone or tablet with no issues, but when I try to access from a W10 laptop (they are all connected to the same external network) all I get is "This page isn't working, *dynamic ddns address* did not send any data, ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"

I have opened the ports on the W10 laptop's firewall, tried 3 different browsers (edge, chrome and firefox), all to no avail. I have connected the W10 laptop to a mobile hotspot from my phone, but all return the same

Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

that sounds like dns is not resolving the hostname correctly, If you run nslookup from a command prompt on the Windows 10 laptop what does it return for the hostname?

Also, check what network profile is in use on the laptop, the 'public' network settings are quite restrictive - try using 'private' instead.

Also, you are forwarding port 8006 as well?

Thank you bobmc. The nslookup resolves the correct address. I have changed to private, but still get the same issue

I have port 8006 forwarded and know this is working because the android devices connect with no issue
Thanks
