I've got the 6.2 VE on a USB stick and successfully installed it to an intel i5 machine for evaluation purposes.

I'm now trying to test on the real planned machine, which is an X470DU main board with Ryzen 3950 (https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=X470D4U)

I have tried transplanting the installed SSD from the first machine and installing via USB stick but I have only a black screen on the IPMI interface.
I currently have Debian 10 installed on this machine running kernel 5.6.

Is the kernel set to disable UEFI frame buffers, or is there some other reason that this is not booting on my hardware that anyone knows of?

Thanks in advance!

Is the USD flash drive okay? Maybe try to reflash it.

Alternatively you can use the iKVM to pass through the ISO in the Remote Console as well. That's how I installed PVE on my personal server at home on that exact same motherboard.
