I need to change the motherboard slot that my boot SSD is using, but when I make the change, Proxmox fails to boot and gives a buffer I/O error on dm-1. When I change the SSD back to its original slot, Proxmox boots fine. Do I need to update some config files? What am I missing?

Hi,

Can you please check the SATA cable?

Did you edit the /etc/fstab with specific flags for the SSD?

It's an NVMe--there is no SATA cable.
Do you have to edit /etc/fstab/ even when UUID hasn't changed?

Additionally, I can boot into Proxmox Recovery and login to root but no clue what to do afterwards.
