Unable to add cephfs storage to my Proxmox VE cluster.

For me i have a question regarding CEPH.

A little about the situation:

Recently created a "chepfs" from the "cephfs" tab in promox:



I first created the "mds" ofc.

Then i had it checked for "add as storage" but it failed. Okey tried to fix this by adding it manualy, but then i come here and are not sure what to put at the "ID" tab:

I tried just writing "chepfs" but get this error message:


Any idea what can be wrong?

Just a guess: in the screenshot it is "up:creating".

Perhaps you can only use it after creating has finished?

Thats might be it. Waited for it to be finished but it just says “creating” forever.

Ohh well gonna read a lot trough the ceph docs so maybe I find a solution there
