I have installed proxmox on a USB stick which I am booting using my laptop but I am unable to access the web GUI it gives me session timeout. My laptop is connected to wifi, not LAN is this an issue? It's my first time using proxmox I tried the ping command but got :
Code:
ping: google.com:
'Temporary failure in name resolution'

I also tried netstat but the command is not found and when I try to get it using :

Code:
apt-get install net-tools

It does not install anything. I am also getting these errors:

Code:
Err:1 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian stretch InRelease
    Temporary failure resolving 'ftp.us.debian.org'
Err:2 http://security.debian.org/debian-security stretch/updates InRelease
    Temporary failure resolving 'security.debian.org'
Err:3 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian stretch-updates InRelease
    Temporary failure resolving 'ftp.us.debian.org'

Hi,

Proxmox VE does not support WIFI adapters.
I guess you WIFI needs an extra proprietary firmware to work properly.
Search in the forum for WIFI and you will find threads where the installation of the firmware is explained.
