Hello, I am trying to get a few VPSes running though Proxmox, but I am having trouble connecting to them through RDP. I have installed the drives for the network adapter. This is a remote server that I do not have physical access to.

I have tried to get it to work with both Windows server 2008 and 2003. The installation of the servers went well and I can connect through the built in Java VNC.

Also, how do I set a specific KVM to use a specific IP?

Am I missing something?
Thanks, Carl

P.S. I also set up a ubuntu desktop VPS and I am unable to connect through NX or an exturnal VNC client.

Hi,
I am using XP guests.
I get different IP to machine in network configuration TCP/IP properties inside XP.
And second way which I used (for several machine) assign IP by router using different MACs.

RDP - did you enable it on the windows side?

if you got a running network you can use RDP protocol without any KVM specific limitations.
