I freely admit that this is probably something pretty exotic, but I see a lot of potential value in it.

Hi,
I think I had check opencontrail 2 years ago when I started to code the proxmox sdn feature (I think it's the old name of tungsten fabric), and the problem was that it need a custom kernel module, and I'm not a big fan of centralized sdn controller.

instead, I have implement bgp-evpn, decentralized controller, not vendor lock-in (but some features like nfv are not implemented yet)
