My Promox server went down hard last night and I'm working on recovering from it. I have backups, but they are stored on my NAS which is run on TrueNAS... which is run as a VM on proxmox
All my VMs were stored on a 4 disk ZFS-1 pool. I've reinstalled Proxmox and can add my ZFS pool that hold the VMs and when I click on that storage area I can look in the VM disks area and see all my VM disks (yay).
But how do I actually access them? if I go to my root directory I can see a folder with the name of my ZFS storage, but the only thing in it is a subvol that I believe hosted a container. I've tried going to datacenter, storage, and adding an LVM, but it says none are found.
What am I missing here (other than everything).
Once I can get trueNAS up and running I can recover the rest of the sytstem from my backups and choose a better place to store said backups in the future perhaps.
