Hello just started my first homelab this year and have gotten the basics of proxmox down.

I found a tutorial on passing through a gpu to a vm and followed it. I ended up getting a IOMMU error and when i googled it, it ended up telling me it had to do with a bios flag.

I went into the bios and turned on all virtualisation , but didn't see any IOMMU options specifically.

So i had to put windows back n this machine for my use case.

The MOBO is a ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Q87M-E (SOCKET 1150)

CPU is Intel Core i7 4770S @ 3.10GHz

Pretty much I want to run a proxmox server and pass through the gpu to run a VM for steam link streaming.

So my question is does anybody know if this is possible on this set of hardware? I cant buy a new cpu and mobo right now.

I know i didn't list the exact error here , as i didn't think to write it down I ended up having to wipe it and put windows on right away.
