Hello Proxmox community,
I hope this post finds you well. I’m reaching out with a concern regarding my TrueNAS scale virtual server hosted within Proxmox, on PowerEdge R730, equipped with two SSDs for Proxmox OS, the server came with raid controller PERC H730 Mini configured as no RAID. I have 4 WD Red Plus 4TB HDDs each and passing through these to the TrueNAS server.
I encountered an issue while running a SMART test on the TrueNAS scale, and unfortunately, it failed. Then I find myself unsure about the accuracy of my TrueNAS configuration. I highly appreciate your expertise and welcome any guidance or insights on ensuring correct configuration. Can I rely on my storage system, and is there a trustworthy method to verify its integrity? I’m open to any advice or suggestions to enhance my current setup. Feel free please to share your insights and recommendations!
FYI,
This is the error i received when running SMART test.
Thank you in advance.
