Tree view tags

Greetings,

I have three "tags" set up but when trying to add the tag to a VM or CT only the first two are displayed or available.




Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

probably the gui just needs a reload after you added the third tag?

anyway you can add the tag even when it's not in the list

you simply write the tag into the field

Sorry I am not following you. write the tag into what field? In my original image and post it is the tag identified as "TM". But, it never shows as an option when attempting to assign to a guest only the first two are available.

Your picture shows the textfield:

Simply type in "TM" there.

ok it seems we don't prefill the list from just the color overrides (can send a patch later for this)
but only from the actually used tags, and the predefined ones in datacenter -> options

I'd like to add a different problem to this issue. I created a tag "Linux" but at some point fat fingered "linux" into the tag box. Now I can't seem to ever enter a capitalized version. The GUI always defaults to the lower case version. I know this is a minor annoyance but I'd like to clear the "tag cache" somehow and get back my capitalized tags. OCD and all. Is there a place that the tags are getting cached. I've tried taking all tags off can clear my browser cache but the problem remains. If the GUI is keeping a list of tags is there a way to reset it?

*UPDATE:
I found the Case Sensative checkbox in the Tag Color Override section which solved my problem.
