Tracking Center Rejected Mails

Is there any way to get emails back from the tracking center that are rejected?
* not sure I understand your question - the tracking center provides a view on the logs - it has no access to the mails
* rejected mails are (depending on what you mean by rejected) - not stored at all on PMG - so there is no possibility to access them

I hope this explains it

please post the logs of those mails - else it's impossible to know what exactly you mean by 'rejected'

This is a pity as the reason for the rejection is that zen.spamhaus.org was and still is unreachable (DNS failure). 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8 and my local ISP's DNS Server ALL say "Can't find zen.spamhaus.org: No answer" - When that happens then no mail can be delivered.

So, basically it leaves me in a position whereby I don't wish to use DNSBL any longer.

Also, I hadn't checked in on this in 4 days, so I have my Tracking list packed with "rejected" mails which I wish I could release but cannot :-(

If you read the information on how to use DNSBL's, they *ALL* state not to use public DNS servers to query their services. That's why you have a problem.

Thank you very much !! I went through that link you supplied and implemented the Unbound DNS solution as they suggested and it's working like a charm.

At first I was convinced I was going to be writing back suggesting it wasn't working ... I was using nslookup to do the test and it was still throwing back " *** Can't find zen.spamhaus.org: No answer " while everything else seemed to respond just fine ;-)

Then I did a " dig ANY zen.spamhaus.org " and my face lit up.. perfect results ;-)

I have re-added the "DNSBL Sites" entry in Mail-Proxy/Options and all is working like Magic.

Thanks for responding to my post - I really am very grateful !

Kind Regards,
Martijn
