Hello all,

today I noticed that the storage usage information shows around 10 % more than the size of the storage actually is. You can see it e.g. in folder view -> Datacenter -> Storage -> local or local-lvm (in my case). It also applies to my shared-lvm on top of iSCSI and on a different system to the local-zfs storage. Thus I assume that it applies to any storage type but I am not sure. Looks like a small bug to me. When looking at the output of pvesm status the values are correct.
I am seeing this with pve version 8.4.14 and with 9.0.11.

Cheers,
Timo

pvesm status should show storage in Kibibytes(s) & the GUI will show the total in Gigabyte(s), they should tally. Just make sure you check you are using those EXACT units in your computations, (Kibibytes NOT Kilobytes, & Gigabytes NOT Gibibytes).

Maybe mark this thread as Solved. At the top of the thread, choose the Edit thread button, then from the (no prefix) dropdown choose Solved.
