I installed a Mellanox ConnectX-4 Network Card in my Proxmox Server. What steps should I follow to configure my Proxmox Server and Virtual machines with a 10gbe network card? Is it enough to create a bridge with a 10gbe Card?

For example, I installed a 10gbe card in my NFS server. How can I test my Proxmox server to connect to the NFS server via the 10gbe Card and start the virtual machines faster ?

There is nothing special that you need to do for your NIC. Whether its 10, 25 or 100 - they all work the same.
Sure, you can do a few optimizations, depending on your environment:

However, in general you will be ok in a home/lab without them.

As for testing, it depends on your NFS server. You could try "iperf" and/or "fio".

Good luck
