To trim or not to trim.... (CEPH)

There is the not really documented CEPH-Parameter "bdev_enable_discard" which allows to TRIM for SSDs.
Is this still something that should be enabled on modern SSDs and NVMEs?
Anyone has TRIM enabled in CEPH with Flash-Disks?

We configure our vdisks with "discard=on" via the web UI which I assume is the same thing you are referring to. Our ceph cluster is 100% NVMe.
