time server

hello I install my promox on a network which does not include internet but I often have problems with the time servers, how can I avoid this?

Hey,

without internet access, you cannot use a time server. You can set the time manually with date --set="10 OCT 2021 18:00:00", or do you have a local time server, in which case take a look at [1].

You most probably have an NTP server on your network if you don't have internet access. Oftentimes the gateway serves time as well or there is a dedicated time server available.
