Hi everyone,

i have an ProxMox Server that is running on the old 5.1-52 Version (will update it to 5.2 in the next Days) and i had an failure in 1 of my lxc containers.

In the log of one of my Aplikations i had an warning that i had an Clock-Jump of 88111 ms. At the time of the clock-jump the Server had some load in this VM, but can this stop the clock for about 88seconds?

I haven´t found problems in lxc containers, only on kvm with windows clients.

A NTP daemon is running on the host system. Do anyone have an idea what problem this can be?

with kind regards,
Marcel

Hi,

in a Container, you have the host time.
What I guess is that your ntp daemon has done the jump?
Do you see the jump on the host?

Hi,

i have not seen a jump on the container or the host, is there a log were i can see the jump on the host, the Caching Software that loged the jump in the container is only there installed.

Thx for the quick reply.
