The storage allocation on proxmox is different from web interface

Dear proxmox community,

I have a question, I have added a storage disk to my proxmox but the available storage show on administrative web page is different from what I can see from CLI.

For example, with df -h it is indicated "used space 262G", on the web page is shown 280GB.

Is there something that I am missing?

I'd assume that's the difference between Gigabyte and Gibibyte

Edit: You can use df -H, then the values should be the same

I have another quick question.

I have got a VM it says that the machine is using 480 GB

df -H ./images/103
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on

But, the VM itself it says it using only 315 GB

There are no snapshots created, the discard option is enabled.
