The need to "LVM VG" with space available

Hi guys

I want to make an inquiry to somebody well understood in PVE:

On several occasions I change the partition size of LVM Volume Group PVE according to my needs, and as at present the backups no longer use LVM snapshots, then is there a need for space free for the Volume Group PVE ?

for VM (KVM) backups, no LVM is needed.

for CT (OpenVZ) live backups, LVM snapshots are still used.

Then, if I don't use CT (OpenVZ), then, Is there no need at all (eg for the system) to have that free space?
