"The connection was reset"

I am having trouble connecting to my host machine via a browser. My proxmox is able to ping the gateway and runs "apt update", but I cannot access it via my browser (even after disabling firewall), showing a "your connection was reset" error. All the configs look fine, including /etc/network/interfaces and the results of "ip route". I can even ssh into the host machine.
