Temperature stats on pve nodes

Hello, does anyone know if pmx team will add anytime temperature monitoring per node?
Is kind of a necessary feature to see at a glance nodes temperature.

For moment there are some "hacks" to make temperature displayed on the summary tab, but maybe something official down the roadmap will be better.

To monitor your systems, you usually use monitoring such as checkmk.

I don't need this display and when I think about the constructs that can be made with RAID and HBA and 24 bays and more, then to be honest I don't want anything like that.

You have your solution that obviously works for you. But it is and remains a virtualization for the data center and not for the home network.

There is a feature request, but - as outlined therein - it does not make sense to display this data in the PVE GUI. Most paying customers use enterprise hardware with HUNDREDS of sensors ... so it makes no sense to display them. Use proper external monitoring.

What I really would like to see is a notifications panel. Not that useful to have 123456 graphs of every metric on the webUI. But might be nice to have some notification panel where only warnings will show up in case something exceeds limits. Like a big red warning in case a ZFS pool degrades or a fan fails.

But there is already software that does this very well (zabbix, checkmk, graphana, ...) and probably would be wasted time of the PMX developers to spend time on a problem that already got solved. If you really need all those additional metrics it shouldn't be a problem to set up something like zabbix and with that you don't need all those PVE graphs/metrics anymore as a proper monitoring software is showing 1000 more and does a way better job.
