TeamViewer drops the networking on VM

Hi all, new pve user here... pretty cool!

Situation - we have a win 10 vm installed in our pve with team viewer on it. Everything runs dandy on it until I try to connect to the vm from a remote machine via team viewer. When the connection is attempted via Team Viewer, the connection will freeze on the client side right after entering the password. Then on the server side I notice that the vm connection is lost...

Sometimes I've been able to revive it via an ipconfig /renew or a network adapter disable/enable... I think sometimes it has come up again randomly... so I'm not sure what's going on :) ymmv.

Another important pieces of info:

* VM uses virtio (drivers installed)
* Host uses vmbr0 which uses a bonded network connection (balance-rr)

Using Anydesk seems to do the trick and we're using this as a workaround, but unfortunately it doesn't follow our company wide policies as we cannot manage security as well.

Hello,

If this problem only occurs when using Team Viewer and does not occur when using Anydesk,
then Team Viewer seems to be the problem.

You can take a look at RustDesk and see if it suits your needs.
Or you could just use SPICE/VNC and manage permissions with PVE.
