Apologies. I'm sure this is something so totally simple but I'm missing it.

Trying to create my first container (a rocky8) Which I've downloaded using pveam download Going through the menu create system, when I punch 'create', this is the error I get:

TASK ERROR: unable to create CT 100 - rbd error: rbd: listing images failed: (13) Permission denied

Everything is being done as root for right now.

I've tried to install on both ceph-pool-1 (see below) and on local storage.

thanks in advance

Ok, resolved this, if not actually solved.
1. ceph osd pool delete ceph-pool-1 ceph-pool-1 --yes-i-really-really-mean-it
2. Instead of trying to create a new pool with the same name (from webUI), I created a pool with a different name ceph-pool-0.
no more permission denied errors so far. Created a rocky8 container and seems to be doing fine. So far.
