Hi there.
I have a PVE up to date, with kernel 6.2.11-2-pve and with "options vhost max_mem_regions=509" enabled but still have the issue:

TASK ERROR: memory size (65536) must be aligned to 2048 for hotplugging

Incredible that we still face such problem.
The VM is a KVM Linux Centos 7 with kernel 6.3.3!

Any fix????

UPDATE.
I tought that maybe it was about centos 7, but I installed Ubuntu 22.04 server and get the same result.
Now the entire VM hangs with "Out of Memory"

Not using host as CPU Type can help to work around this. More details can be found in this thread. EDIT: And this thread.

Well... Itś like works more or less! Kinda works...


I cant understand why inside the OS show me roughly 52GB if I extend it to 64GB of memory. Where's the other 13G???

I got a lot of error and OOkill.... THat's bad! Pretty bad!

Need to shutdown the VM and give me "System is deadlock on memory". So I need to revert to 4G of ram in order to boot properly.
