Target Harddisk(s)?

Hello,

I'm installing Proxmox on a remote server using a remote Keyboard Video Mouse setup. My concern is I have 3 harddisks in the server.
1 to install Proxmox and the other 2 that contain data and backups that needs to be preserved and not erased during the install.

So my question is...
I see the install allows you to chose a drive as a target. But it also says
"Target HarddriskS". With and "S". So does that mean it still erases and uses all the HDs on the server to use for the install and data storage? or does it only erase and install to the Harddisk chosen in the install process?

In other words are my 2 data drives safe if I chose to install on the 3rd drive?

Anyone know the answer here? I'm sure anyone that has installed Proxmox would know the answer. I'm kinda waiting here, watching... this thread... .. until I here back from someone here... before I risk wiping out the extra data drives in the server.

...in case the answer comes in handy for someone else...

I figured it out...
I did a test instand of Proxmox into a VirtualBox VM to see if it uses only the drive selected.... It did..
I then installed it onto my real server onto the 3rd hard drive and it worked fine, keeping the data on drives 1 & 2 intact.

On top of that, I copied the files to a software RAID1 partition that runs across sda and sdb and that is working fine now too. So I'm actually booting to a dev.. called /dev/md3 now.

I also set grub to boot the original Proxmox on drive 3 which I'll keep around for reference, backup etc... which I'll mainly be using the 1st 2 drives that are running software RAID1
