[SOLVED] TAPE: BACKUP/RESTORE planings

In the moment, there is no restore of an single VM possible:
this was implemented in the meantime. on restoration of a media-set, you can select single snapshot (or multiple) which will be restored into your datastore

Hi,

I tested it and it doesn't work like expected:

On my PBS testsystem I've an 'productiv' Backup STORE2. 4TB. There I've several backuped VMs.
I wrote all backups to Tape. For restore I've an STORE1 with 1TB.

Now I select one VM (vm/104/2021-06-06T15:30:02Z) from the current backupset, and want to restore it to STORE1
After several hour's the STORE1 is full and I see that there are multiple VMs from the backupset restored with all existing snapshots.

I'm on the latest community release:
Code:
()
proxmox-backup: not correctly installed (running kernel: 5.4.106-1-pve)
proxmox-backup-server: 1.1.5-1 (running version: 1.1.5)

Any suggestions? Should I paste some logs?

Gregor
