I am planning to expand from 2 nodes to 5 nodes. I currently have 2 machines that are identical twins in terms of there specs, assembly and configuration. They are older and as follows:

Motherboard: Asus P8H61-M LX Plus (Revision 2.0)
Processor: Intel Core i3 @ 3.30 GHz
Physical Memory: 16 GB DDR3
Power Supply: 400 Watt
Physical Storage:
1 x 2TB Western digital RED NAS Hard Drives
1 x 250GB Samsung 850 EVO Solid State Hard Drive
Network Interfaces:
1 x Integrated Realtek Gigabit Ethernet Card
2 x Intel PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Card
I am planning on building 3 more identical machines to bring the cluster to 5 nodes, here is what I am thinking:

Motherboard: Asus PRIME B250M-A
Processor: Intel i3-7100@ 3.90 GHz
Physical Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB @ 2133MHz
Power Supply: 450 Watt Corsair CX Series CX450M
Physical Storage:
1 x 2TB Western digital RED NAS Hard Drives
1 x 250GB Samsung 850 EVO Solid State Hard Drive
Network Interfaces:
1 x Integrated Ethernet Card
2 x Intel PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Card
I would love to get into actual server hardware and rack mounted equipment but its just not in the budget and I really don't like buying used equipment as I keep some very important to me things on these machines and feel better with new equipment.

Does anyone see any glaring problems with either the new systems or compatibility between the older 2 machines and the 3 newer machines.

There will be no issues from the Proxmox front on different versions of CPU model e.t.c, only issues you may have is depending on your setup if you wish to migrate a VM from one node to another specially Windows OS's they may complain about the change of CPU (become un-licensed,BSOD)
