System Komplett Zerstört...

Hallo Proxmox Community,

Ich wollte heute morgen das Webinterface erreichen und es ging einfach plötzlich nicht mehr...
Ich recherchierte den auftauchenden Fehler pvestatd[2160]: ipcc_send_rec failed: Connection refused im Internet und versuche jetzt schon seit 11:00 das Problem zu beheben. Ich befürchte es jedoch durch ein Update noch Schlimmer gemacht zu haben.
Folgende Probleme treten nun auf:
- Web Panel funktioniert nichtmehr
- Networking kann nicht mehr gestartet werden...

Die V-Server funktionieren jedoch weiterhin einwandfrei.


Ich bitte um eure Hilfe da ich echt am verzweifeln bin und auch Angst habe meine Daten zu verlieren. Vermutlich hätte ich lieber direkt hier fragen sollen anstatt an einem laufenden System herumzuprobieren :(

hat sich erledigt, Server hat ein Hardwarefehler und war in einem Zustand das kein Verzeichnis oder Dienst mehr verwaltet oder gestartet werden konnte. Die virtuellen Server wurden auf hetzner Backup Server kopiert. Nach einer Neuinstallation läuft wieder alles.

Schade das der eigentliche User das hier nicht hin bekommt zu antworten. Aber so sind die Menschen egoistisch!

Markus, ich weiß nicht wie du darauf kommst das mein Problem behoben ist, geschweigenden dass mein Server ein Hardware Fehler hat... Das Problem besteht weiterhin und Ich würde mich weiterhin sehr über Hilfe freuen. (Ich konnte erst jetzt Antworten da ich mich im Urlaub befand)

Zum Ende kann man noch hinzufügen dass alle V-Server noch einwandfrei funktionieren, jedoch nicht mehr kontrolliert werden können. Ich Vermute dass ich versehntlich ein Update von Proxmox 4.0 zu 5.0 unterbrochen oder sonst was habe... Hierbei habe ich diesen Wiki Eintrag befolgt: linkremoveds://pve.proxmoxlinkremoved/wiki/Upgrade_from_4.x_to_5.0

Habt Ihr noch Ideen wie das System zu retten ist?

Hi,
mindestens ein Fehler ist, dass Du Paketquellen für pve4 und pve5 aktiv hast.

Kommentiere bitte alle Zeilen in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ aus, die noch jessie als OS drin haben!!

Ubuntu-Quellen unter Debian?! Kann funktinieren, muß nicht... Zur Sicherheit würde ich die auch erstmal auskommentieren.

Korrekte Vorgehensweise wäre alle i368-Pakete zu löschen, und dann ebenso die Architektur ("dpkg --remove-architecture i386").

deshlab habe ich vor dir ein ls auf /etc/modprboe.d machen lassen. Da war dkms.conf mit dabei.

Das heisst, Du hast noch zusätzliche Software mit einem Kernelmodul, das bei der Installation generiert wird, installiert (z.B. sowas wie DRBD), wobei aber anscheinend das file fehlt... klingelt da was bei Dir - Du müsstest es ja mal irgendwann installiert haben.

Wenn das Packet nicht sauber installiert ist, könnte man es mit diesen befehl finden:

dpkg -l | grep -v ^ii
Andere Möglichkeit wäre sich die Module eines älteren Kernel anzusehen, sowas wie dies hier:

ls /lib/modules/*/updates/dkms/
ansonsten könnte apt-file weiterhelfen (aber evtl. sind Deine Paketquellen nicht mehr die richtige Quelle):

Wieso ist das überhaupt installiert. Hast Du irgendwelche cuda-karten am laufen?
Wenn es nicht in Benutzung ist, würde ich es als erstes raus schmeissen.
Und warum west-chamber? Was machst Du mit iptables auf'n host?
Was zum Teufel machst Du mit dm-writeboost? Sowas kann man sicherlich mal testen, vielleicht auch benutzen, aber dann sollte man sich auch damit auskennen... mit "lsmod | grep writeboost" gucken, ob in Verwendung!
ceph ist auch aktiv? Was so alles auf'ne Hetzner-Büchse geht... ich bin verwundert.

Die Netzwerktreiber brauchst Du auch nicht, die sind beim Kernel dabei. Oder hast Du ein Board, das irgendwann so neu war, dass Treiber selbst kompiliert werden mussten?
Kannst Du kontrollieren - zb. für igb mit

dann solltest Du sehen, ob der "normale" igb-Treiber genommen wird, oder dein 16.11.4er
Wenn jemand Lust und Zeit hat kann er gerne auch mal mit TeamViewer oder Anydesk drüber schauen :)

Von einzelnen V-Servern besitze Ich Dumps, aber nicht ein Backup vom kompletten System. Und ja es ist produktiv. Ich weiß es ist meine eigene Dummheit kein Backup zu haben :(



Soo Ich konnte jetzt so wie es aussieht einige Probleme beheben..

Undzwar einmal das Package Problem durch das einfügen von deb [arch=amd64] vor dem Proxmox Package.

Zudem wurden einige unnötige Dinge vom System entfernt und das Update läuft durch und 5 von 7 Paketen konnten nun fehlerfrei installiert werden.

Jedoch gibt es noch zwei Proxmox Pakete welche immer noch zicken (beim Dist-Upgrade)

von einem zerschossenen System hilft ein Backup auch nur bedingt. Du solltest noch mal den Inhalt von /etc (mit /etc/pve), /root und /var/lib/pve-* sichern (z.B. mit tar und das file auf'n anderen host schieben).

Prolbem ist hier, wenn du den pve-manager runterfährst, werden alle Deine VMs (CTs) gestoppt!

pveproxy - aber ohne richtig laufenden pve-manager wird da nicht viel zu holen sein.
