Sync job and email notification

Hi, I am so happy with PBS and sync jobs to backup on a remote location, but I find only one thing missing in order to be perfect and that is email notifications just like any other backup procedure has..

not sure if I am missing something but is there a way to enable this to trigger notifications?

datastore options should have a notification setting where you can set the receiver and if you want to send notifications (or only on error,)
