switch disk bus type

I'm pretty new here

I started testing proxmox and it works perfect! but I made a mistake . I created a (KVM) VM with an IDE disk. This disk has a max speed of 18MB/s and thats the reason that I have to change the bus type to virtio.

Is it posible withthe qm commandline?

Sure. Just remove the disk, which is then displayed as 'unused' disk.
You can then re-add the unused disk with double-click...

yes (please make a backup if you do not trust). Or test how it work using a test VM.
