better to use swappiness=1 instead of 0. Should prevent to use swap except in emergency situations.

This is interessting, because we have on all us systems "0". And the systems are swapping fine when is out of memory - Up do Date PVE.

Perhaps the containers are swapping out? Swapping also happens if you reach a virtual limit, not just a physical one. Eg. a container with a limit of 1G memory will start swapping if it exceeds that 1G even if there's still plenty of memory free.

Or buy more RAM, and turn swap off! The last time I had swap on my server was some 5-6 years ago...
