Swap memory limit

Hello,

I set up a cluster with 3 nodes and I found that I had a node with a very available exchange memory.

What is the utility of swapping on a hypervisor? Is this normal? What can this command do on the virtual machine running swapoff -a && swapon -a?

it will release everything on swap to the ram

it's generally a good idea to have swap space for performance reasons. see here[0].

Thank you, I launched the command because I was afraid that my node crashes even if I expanded available RAM (74 GB available). This was no problem on VM who were in production
