As vGPU's seem to have become more popular, figured I'd ask here first to see if anyone else has run into this.

The latest release of the NVIDIA vGPU driver does appear to build on the latest 6.8 kernel available for Proxmox, however this success leads to an empty mdevctl list. After speaking with NVIDIA support, it appears that for later kernels and the latest driver, NVIDIA have implemented some sort of vendor specific vfio-pci framework that does away with the concept of mediated devices.

Anyone run into this yet? Given that the Proxmox resource mapping seems to rely on mediated device support, any suggestions on how to proceed here with latest PVE version and latest NVIDIA drivers?

hi, yes we're aware of it and work on a solution, no timeframe yet though since we don't simply want to hack it in ;)
