I have one of this https://www.supermicro.nl/products/system/1U/1028/SYS-1028U-TR4T_.cfm
This would be my base-server for a new PVE cluster.

In the very first time, i'll use local storage with ZFS and SSDs.
One question: Is Intel C612 chipset stable enough for hotplug or should I need a dedicated HBA controller?

I've read that C612 has/had some issues with hotplug under linux, where the hot-removal caused kernel panic.

Anyone using this ? If possible, I prefere to not add a new HBA. Less hardware that could break.
