Update to my previous report. Still no crashes. Seems we're in the clear with the latest kernel patch.
kernel 6.8.12-4 did not seem to fix the reboot issue during backup (even though backup uses different NIC than corosync.
I'm starting to think this is more of a IO issue than Network issue.
that sounds like a different issue. Please open a separate thread and provide more details about your system, package versions and logs there.kernel 6.8.12-4 did not seem to fix the reboot issue during backup (even though backup uses different NIC than corosync.

I just changed host setting manually to KVM64. What kernels do you guys usually use if not Default? Does Qemu64 work as well as KVM64? It seems x86 with AES support might have been part of the problem. It's lot faster than KVM64.Just a random thought but are you guys confident that the PSU is capable of handling 7950x with sustained high load?
It could be your PSU can only support 7950x at full load for a limited amount time and then heat or other factor starts to de-stabilize you PSU and everything goes down in blazing glory.
sad times, random reboot occurredok i have applied the patch by appending the relevant files, the month countdown begins until i report back with if i random reboot
edit: also @jeenam i can confirm that this issue exists even without windows because for the first 9 months or so of owning this CPU since launch I never used anything windows and still faced this issue. I pray this modification is the end of it and we can all walk away happy with working CPUs
