Stumped - low fsyncs /w Ent SSD & H700 PERC

Hello all, been using Proxmox for awhile but switching to new server and having an issues with slow fsyncs...

Here's what i have:

Dell R610
2 x 2.26Ghz L5520 Xeon Quad Core
Dell PERC H700 512MB SAS RAID Controller
1 x Samsung 883 DCT Series SSD 2.5

pveperf output while no VMs are running:

CPU: 72349
Regex: 1543074
Buffered Reads: 498
seek: .21
fsyncs: 1403
DNS Ext: 1005
DNS int: 1001

I would have expected a much higher fsync with no VMs running. Does anyone have an idea on what my bottleneck could be? Appreciate the help!

How is the storage setup? And try testing the storage with FIO.
