Stuck on running first cluster with rancher

First time installing rancher cluster with my proxmox machine running ubuntu server. I am following these steps from Techno Tim and I am at this part in the video where I am stuck.

On my machine rancher it shows a few different task it is running like this


But always ends at this and then I lose connection with the website for rancher.


I run the Top command on my ubuntu server and I keep seeing activity. Has been going for about an hour now and still running. Here is an example of what my terminal runs when running Top command.


Any ideas what I need to do to fix this? TIA

Hey! I've followed the same video last month, but since rancher has changed lots of things in version 2.6, the video is not on the spot anymore.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm stuck at the same kind of error on my end.

I'm using docker 20.10.12 and rancher 2.6

In the mean time, maybe try to look at this page: https://github.com/rancher/rancher/releases
It has a few requirements that needs to be followed (like disabling firewalld !)

Also make sure all your VM are well setup for ssh keys (use ssh-copy-id from the master to the other nodes, verify your sshd_conf configuration, etc.)
