Stuck on Loading Initial RAMDISK Proxmox 8.3.2 after installing a new GT 610

HI all,

too keep a long story short I installed a new GT 610: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMX8XWHD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title to use as simple GFX so I can connect it to my tinypilot KVM as the VGA port on my MB does not work and does not have an HDMI Port on the board. (HW listed below)

With that said the screen is stuck on loading initial RAMDISK, but will not go past that screen, the who system will boot though, and can access the Web GUI as it boots fine.

I also tested with an old GTX 1060 and the same issue occurs.\

with No GPU screen does not freeze and is fine all the way to boot

Has anyone experienced this issue and have a fix that worked for them?

THANK YOU!! This helped me fix an issue on my Beelink mini-pc that was getting stuck at "Loading ramdisk" after grub, but otherwise running perfectly (network was fine and all VM/LXC were reachable)

Never seen anything like it in decades of running Linux, and it turned out to be a line in grub.

/etc/default/grub had:

#GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet amd_iommu=on iommu=pt video=vesafb:off video=efifb:off initcall_blacklist=sysfb_init"

No idea why, but IIRC it happened after I upgraded the RAM to 64GB. Removed the "off" crap and the blacklist and updated grub, and now I have my...
