Strange NIC configuration

The iron has 3 NICs but after installation PBS shows 4 (!?!)

This is what I see from PBS WebUI:

I've seen this on servers with some kind of out of band access (IPMI, iLo, iDRAC, BMC, you name it...) installed using a remote media (no local usb key with the iso). That extra nic belongs to that board and is usually detected as an USB device.

You can simply remove it from the configuration or add a comment to help identification.
