Strange Inconsistency

Hi,

Ok so i have a server 2003 VM that's a fresh install on proxmox 1.5. It's configured with 1 socket and 2 cores and none of the para virtualized drivers.

performance seems fine. i'm just getting some inconsistency with the reporting on cpu usage, system idle process is showing 98-99 % most of the time which is fine, however when it's like this the CPU Usage on the performance tab is running around 30-40% so i'm really confused.

Hi,
take a look on the console with top to see the cpu usage - it should nearly the same like in the web-gui (the web-gui refresh not so fast).
Do you use ksm (kernel 2.6.32)?
What kind of disk do you use? qcow2 need a little bit more cpu then raw.
