storage zfs and raid

Hello,
I have to install a 2nd server as a replica of my 1st. I have a dell poweredge t420 server. The drive bay is plugged into a raid card. Then I raid 0 on each disk so I can do my ZFS pool. Thank you for your help.

Buy a used SAS2008 controller, flash it into IT-mode. I've done this over 8 times already and it always works great.

Jup, can confirm that. Not great for the electricity bill (I think it uses 10-12W each card) but best bang for the buck. Got them for as cheap as 23€ and never had any problems with ZFS.
