Storage options

Good day, I'm a newbie and we are trying to determine which kind of storage type/options we can opt for.

Below are some of the criteria we are interested in;

- Accessible via a network by different VMs and Containers

- Can be used as backup storage

- Hot-swappable disks in case of hard disk malfunction

- Redundancy

- Low latency

I would be glad to hear your recommendations.

We are a bit inclined toward ceph but we want to be sure.

ceph will fit your criteria.

if you're unsure, check [0] and [1] to get an overview of different storages' capabilities.

these are for PVE, but you can use any storage you like on PBS if you can set it up
