Hi, we are in testing a migration from vmware to proxmox with two DL380 Gen10 and a new Storage IScsi such a De200H Lenovo oer MSA20260 from HP. There is someone already do a similar and have experience in this project ? So there is also certification or interoperability Matrix for Proxmox and the Vendor Lenovo and HP ? Tks Marco

I have a few deployments using dot hill controllers (the same as in the MSA2060 or Dell ME5024.) They work fine, just understand the caveats when using shared block in pve, namely that you're limited to LVM thick for logical arrangement.

Hi @marco.caserio , welcome to the forum.

PVE uses Debian kernel with Ubuntu userland. Proxmox does not certify any specific hardware combinations, usually neither does Linux Kernel organization. It is up to the vendors to ensure that their hardware works properly, and submit any code improvements.
Debian's information regarding compatibility list is here: https://www.debian.org/releases/trixie/amd64/ch02s01.en.html.

You'd want to reach out to your hardware vendor to inquire which Linux Kernel they officially support. Some vendors have now started to qualify PVE specifically: https://www.proxmox.com/en/partners...ype-filter/partner-type/solution-provider?f=6

There are many people out there using same or similar hardware combinations, give it a try and if you have any specific issues - let us know!
