I've seen several threads on the basic issues involved but being new to Proxmox, it's tough to decode. I'll try to get to what I'm really trying to accomplish and this specific problem.
Hardware: Cisco UCS-C220-M5SX (2 sockets, 384GB RAM, 10TB RAID5 array, NVMe drive for OS (about 26GB left for use).
What Problem I'm trying to solve: In VMware, I can upload ISOs, OVAs, etc. and use them for installation, or mount it in the VM console. The RAID storage can't seem to configured for that, so only the NVMe 26GB is all I have to work with.
What I'm Trying to Do: Either enable the disk storage as a repository or map my NAS (Buffalo Ls210d which can only use SMB1/2) as a storage repository.
I have tried a couple of things already recommended in other threads but the syntax isn't super clear to me.
I'm brand new to Proxmox so trying to get used new ways of doing things.
